Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DraftMesh, including our website, sync infrastructure, Obsidian plugin, collaboration features, and public markdown sharing (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
DraftMesh provides encrypted Obsidian vault synchronization, multiplayer collaboration, version history, and optional public markdown sharing. Vault content is encrypted on your device before upload. We provide the infrastructure to store and deliver encrypted data but cannot access your plaintext notes.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled. Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record and payment provider. Pricing, plan limits, and billing intervals are shown on our website and in your account dashboard.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription from the DraftMesh console or through the Creem customer portal linked from your account.
- Refunds, if any, are handled according to applicable law and Creem policies unless otherwise stated at purchase.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- share illegal content through public links or collaboration features;
- misrepresent your identity or attempt unauthorized access to accounts or vaults.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content in your vaults. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and process encrypted content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you sync, share, or publish.
6. Public sharing
If you enable markdown sharing, you are responsible for what you publish and who can access shared links. Public links may be forwarded by recipients. Remove or revoke sharing when content should no longer be public.
7. Service availability
We strive to keep the Service reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
8. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRAFTMESH AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
